Small business website development helping to:
- improve accessibility and performance of existing websites
- enable site owners to manage their content
- research and advise on "Web 2.0" features
Read more about what I could do for your small business website on my contracting page.
Website development is a trade like any other, using tools like DreamWeaver, Eclipse or even Notepad to craft raw languages like (X)HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and SQL into a finished product. Although there is a line of thought that with the terrific rate of change in internet technologies it may be time to let go of the idea of a 'finished' product in favour of the 'constantly developing' product.
Motivations
- Make things better
- To borrow from an old song: Do what I do do well
- Earn a living and a little more in the process.
My ideal project provides ROI for the site owner, an improved experience and service for the site visitors and the opportunity to expand my skills. Do you have a project I might be interested in?
Being able to complete tasks quickly, throughly and affordably is important to my work ethic.
Hobbies
When not working my pastimes include:
- keeping up with the changing face of the internet and ways in which it is making life easier for people
- being a tabletop roleplaying geek
- a little photography

The Web Knight
He arrived with a bunch of other shareware images pre-installed on my very first computer and has been my online avatar almost as long as I have been on the internet.
I have never been able to track his origin, although I've seen other people also using him as an avatar.
